West Indies Second Time World T20 Champion

Published on: Monday 4 April 2016

Yesterday the final match on world t20 was played between England and West Indies. West Indies won that match and became the world champions for second time. They have played well in the tournament and certainly deserve to be crowned as champions of the world. It was not a cake walk for the mighty West Indian team. They were made to fought out for this victory by England’s good bowling attack. The target of 160 looked a smaller one for the West Indian team which have chased down 193 against very good Indian bowling attack in their last encounter the semi final of the worl t20.

But England picked up very wickets to set West Indies back and in the end the total of 160 looked impossible at a point when West Indies required 19 runs of last over and Ben Stokes the inform English bowler returned to finish the ininngs off. But Carlos Braithwate had the different ideas and he took Ben Stokes apart and hit him for four consecutive sixes out of the ground and named his team as the champions of world t20.

Congratulations to West Indies team on this victory and love the way they enjoy by dancing. You have not only won the world cup but many hearts too. Hope to see the best united efforts from this team in near future to entertain the crowd with their blistering hitting skills.
